Report reaching NEWISSUES earlier today says 37 House of Representative members of the PDP have decamped to the opposition party, APC.
This was announced during a plenary session of the House on Wednesday.
Though the names of the decampees were not mentioned, they are believed to be lawmakers from the five states whose governors recently left the PDP to join the APC.
The five governors who decamped were Musa Kwankwaso (Kano), Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara), Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Aliyu Wamakko (Sokoto) and Murtala Nyako (Adamawa).
The PDP crisis could not be resolved as clash of egos finally leads to mass decamping to the opposition party. Insider confided to NEWISSUES that all these was a result of President Goodluck Jonathan refusing to step down from contesting election in 2015.
