BokoHaram Closed Schools in Darazo and Ganjuwa LGS of Bauchi State

NEWISSUES, Abuja

Report from Bauchi says insurgents who have been staying around Ganjuwa and Darazo LGAs on   Sunday went to the village of Ganjuwa in broad day light and held the villagers hostage for hours until the arival of the emir whom they demanded to see before embarking on preaching. NEWISSUES learned that they have been moving around the area preaching and recruiting. Unconfirmed source say they offer their recruits one hundred thousand naira.

They have now ordered the closure of primary schools in the surounding villages, leaving dispensaries  and hospitals to operate. Eye witness say some of them were carrying AK 47. Meanwhile, Businessman Manu Soro, who was kidnaped by suspected insurgents has not been found and the family have not been contacted.
