Chief Femi Fani-Kayode wrote on his wall on Facebook that:
“The call by some northern leaders that General Buhari should grant Boko Haram amnesty when he comes to power is insulting and unacceptable.”
Vanguard newspaper recently reported that some Northern Nigerian leaders, notably among them former SFG, Babagana Kingibe and Justice Uwais, are asking President Elect, General Buhari, to grant amnesty to Boko Haram when he takes over.
Boko Haram have killed over 10,000 people in Nigeria in their violent campaign to establish an Islamic caliphate in Nigeria. Recently their leader has pledges allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS)
