Femi Fani-Kayode, director of media and and publicity, PDP presidential campaign has dismissed report that he is seeking political asylum abroad, saying he is fully prepared “to keep the incoming administration on its toes. ”
Addressing State House Correspondents on Thursday, Fani-Kayode said he was proud of the role he played during the build up to the election.
“We are not going anywhere, I speak for myself and I can speak for many others,” he said.
“We are hear to stay. We will provide a virile opposition to APC. We will do all we need to do to keep the incoming government on its toes and we will do all this in a very honorable and peaceful way.
“Nobody is going anywhere as far as I am concern, we are here to stay, neither are we running away, there is nothing to be scared of, we fought hard, we did well.
I am very proud of my team, I am proud of my campaign organization and we will continue on the trenches until this country is on the road to success and we will continue to do that.”
He also debunk report that there is division I his party, adding that the PDP would remain united for general progress of the country.
