Nigerians all over are talking about the late Lt. Col. Muhammed Abu Ali who was killed yesterday with 4 of his colleagues in Malomfatori. The story went viral on social media after Colonel SK Usman, spokesperson for the army posted the story on Facebook.

Muhammad Abu Ali littered the social media Facebook and Twitter and his story and the story of his death is all over that it overshadowed the story of the rescued Chibok girl in Pulka, Gwoza Local Government.

The late Lt. Col. Muhammad Abu Ali’s picture being honoured and promoted General Buratai and video of him being promoted from Major to Lieutenant Colonel is all over Facebook and Twitter. He was promoted last year for his gallantry in warfront and in leading his batallion in the capture of Gamboru Ngala. Colonel Usman disclosed that the late officer’s “exceptional bravery and gallantry” had earned him accelerated promotion from the rank of Major to Lieutenant Colonel, adding that the felled officer “was decorated by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General TY Buratai at Gamboru Ngala on 9th September 2015 during an operational visit.”
