The publisher of Daily Nigerian, Mr. Jaafar Jaafar, is saying the president didn’t grant an interview to the BBC recently. Mr. Jaafar wrote this on his popular Facebook wall Monday morning.

“Buhari did not grant interview to BBC recently. Although the clip/insert is original, it was simply a propaganda subnational broadcast packaged and released by an overzealous aide to con hyper-zealous fans into believing that the president is in the UK for fishing expedition.” –Jaafar Jaafar.
Chief Femi Fani-Kayode also had earlier aired the same view yesterday after the audio was released. Chief Fani-Kayode wrote that, “It was NOT President Buhari that spoke in todays sallah day audio recording. And for whoever it was to address the nation in hausa is deeply insulting. Hausa is not the lingua franca of Nigeria.”

Other Nigerians have complained and are still complaining that it is wrong to address the whole nation in Hausa language.
