Buhari Is Now An Officially Failed President

An ardent supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr. Busuyi Okoye, a Nigerian based in the United States, angered by Senate President Saraki’s acquittal by the Code of Conduct Trubunal (CCT) has simply dismissed the Preisdent Buhari as a failed president.

“My support for him has always been that he will fight the war against corruption to the street of no return. He has failed. I had thought he was going to achieve about 80% success in the war against corruption in the high places. I’m not even sure if he can get 5% aymore.

“It is high time we scrapped the EFCC, ICPC and any organization like them in Nigeria. They are of no use to our society.”

Mr. Busuyi Oloye is not the only one who expressed such disappointment.

Professor Pius Adesanmi, Director at The Institute of African Studies, Carleton University, Canada, said Senate President has been defeating the Nigerian people since his days of his robbery at Societal-Generale Bank, through eight years of massive robbery as governor of Kwara State, onward to aloota continua in the senate. Every attempt to make him pay for his crime has failed.

On the contrary some of Saraki’s supporters have also wrote that the trail was a witch hunting from the beginning and the federal government’s inability to succeed is because the executive themselves are not clean.

Job Adeiza Amos  wrote that, “The Federal government’s inability to surmount Senator Saraki despite all the government machinery at her disposal is an indication that there is a balance of power between the Duo. Meaning, he who live in a glass house must not throw stone to the glass house or better still, her inability to come to equity with clean hands account for her defeat.”

Right now the social media is awash with this issue with different views flying around, but a lot of Buhari’s supporters are disappointed.
