Ahmedu Augustine also know as Blackfaze, founder of the musical trio, Plantasion Boiz, with Tuface Idibia and Faze, has relocated from Nigeria to the United Kingdom under the global talent visa. Plantasion Boiz and a few others kickstarted the Afrobeats revolution in the late 90s and 2000s, making the genre a global brand before Burma Boy, Wiz Kid, Tems, and the likes of Rema. One of the songs that went global was African Queen, a song written by Blackfaze, it wasn’t credited to him until about a decade ago after the group break up around 2004 after Kenny Music signed Tuface.

African Queen will go on to become one of the biggest songs from Africa. The hassle for credit and battle to not compensate him and acknowledge him for African Queen took long, and he admitted it almost ruined him. Well, it ruined the relationship between Tulace Idibia and Blackfaze, that was if there was really one.

Blackfaze is now based in London, NEWISSUES confirms. He spend his time touring cities performing and composing songs after song. He is no doubt without talent. As a song writer and singer, a computer, he is brilliant, but Daddy Freeze thinks he needs collaboration with the new generation artists. Blackfaze has refused to do that, believing he can pull it through on his owm.
