On 31 October, The President of the United States of America, Donald.Trump, breaks silence on Christian killings in Nigeria. He would later go on to talk about US military intervention if the disgraced country did nothing about it. Since then the Nigerian government have been trying to friutlessly deny the allegation of persecution against Christians or even genocide against Christians. When some Muslims in the north believe the killing is widely spread and affected all faith over the years, there are some who believe there is actually a Christian targetted killings. Majority of Christians in the north have agreed that they is deliberate targetting of Christians over the years dating back Many years even before Boko Haram, and they are accusing Northern Nigerian Muslims leaders for promoting Islamic extremism and supporting extremism over the years.
Many people in Southern Nigeria have clearly shown their ignorance on the matter. Notably the like of Femi Fala (SAN). There is also the use of Nigerian mass media and bloggers by the Federal Government to promote the narrative that there is no Christian Genocide.
