On 31 October, The President of the United States of America, Donald.Trump, breaks silence on Christian killings in Nigeria. He would later go on to talk about US military intervention if the disgraced country did nothing about it. In the subsequent days that followed, Trump would go ahead to put Nigeria as a.country of concern for persecution of Christians.

Since then the Nigerian government have been trying to friutlessly deny the allegation of persecution against Christians or even genocide against Christians. In the country, opinions have been divided. When some Muslims in the north believe the killing is widely spread and affected all faith over the years, there are some who believe there is actually a Christian targetted killings. Majority of Christians in the north have agreed that they is deliberate targetting of Christians over the years dating back Many years even before Boko Haram, and they are accusing Northern Nigerian Muslims leaders for promoting Islamic extremism and supporting extremism over the years.

Many people in Southern Nigeria have clearly shown their ignorance on the matter. Notably the like of Femi Fala (SAN). There is also the use of Nigerian mass media and bloggers by the Federal Government to promote the narrative that there is no Christian Genocide.

NEWISSUES can categorically inform you that there is a clear case of genocide against Christians in Northern Nigeria. The evidence are undeniable. Christian persecution is far north state dominated by Muslims has been opened and careless. State government use hundreds of millions to build mosques in states with indegenous Christians, yet make demolition of Churches as a priority. Indigenous Christians openly marginalised, government promote the conversion of Christians to Islam, using state funds to promote Islam and demonise Christians and Christianity. This has been going on long before the mass killings. It used to be attacks on churches over events happening across the globe that affect Muslims. It was usually politicised and mobs mobilised to attack churches and Christians in solidarity with Muslims, it would turn sinister as government implementation of Sharia Law manifested into terror breeding, and the harvest is the mass killing that has engulfed Nigeria for over two decades.

When the Nigerian government is going around the globe trying to prove there is no Christian Genocide, terrorists have continued to attack the country and it is clear the government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have no answers.
