US based Nigerian blogger, Isa Bako, has called on northern Nigerian youths to send Sheikh Gumi where he can get 72 virgins, meaning the Sheikh should be killed. He said it on his social media page with a video of Gumi asking the Federal Government to grant amnesty for the bandits.
In a recent interview, Sheikh Gumi told the anchor that he would sue anybody who associates his name with bandits. Until recently he has been an advocate for negotiating with Fulani. Gumi’s resent attempts to clear his image off the bandit situation in the country hasn’t been going well. He even shared an article in a rather obscure online magazine defending and exonerating him from the bandits problems.
Isa Bako who has near 1 million followers on social media is accusing Gumi of being part of the problem that has continued to plague Nigeria. NEWISSUES can tell you authoritatively that Sheikh Gumi has not yet officially sued Isa Bako.
