Leadership is best measured not by loud promises but by quiet, consistent service. In Ankpa Federal Constituency, one name increasingly associated with this kind of leadership is Dr Alhaji Sanusi Abdul Sanusi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SANAN Real Homes Limited.

Dr Sanusi, who hails from Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, has over the years built a reputation as a community-minded leader who gives back, often from his personal resources. Away from the glare of politics, he has supported individuals and families in need, offering assistance that reflects empathy, responsibility and a deep sense of social duty.

Those who know him closely describe a man of integrity, humility and open-heartedness. These are not abstract virtues. They are values reflected in his everyday interactions with ordinary people across Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro local government areas. In a political climate where trust is fragile, such personal credibility matters.

Sanusi’s leadership outlook is also shaped by his strong faith and sound Qur’anic knowledge. His fear of Almighty Allah informs his conduct, guiding his decisions and reinforcing his commitment to fairness and justice. In many communities, faith remains a moral compass for public life, and Sanusi’s grounding in Islamic principles resonates with people who desire leaders of conscience.

As a business leader, he has demonstrated organisational discipline and strategic thinking. Through SANAN Real Homes Limited, he has shown that enterprise can be built with responsibility and respect for people. These experiences are relevant to public service, where effective representation requires both compassion and competence.

Looking ahead to 2027, many stakeholders believe Sanusi has the qualities needed to represent Ankpa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. The constituency, which comprises Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro, needs a representative who understands local realities, listens to constituents and advocates credibly at the national level.

Importantly, Sanusi’s record suggests a willingness to serve without waiting for office. This culture of service-before-power is what distinguishes genuine public servants from career politicians. It also offers hope to young people who want to see leadership that is accessible and accountable.

This is why I urge the good people of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency to look closely at the character and contributions of Alhaji Sanusi Abdul Sanusi. Giving him the opportunity to serve is not merely about politics; it is about entrusting representation to someone whose life reflects service, respect and responsibility.

In a time when Nigeria needs leaders who unite rather than divide, Sanusi represents a calm, principled option—one rooted in community, guided by faith and committed to the welfare of the people.
