Hon. Berger Alfred, the Speaker of the Benue State Assembly in support of Governor Alia wrote on his social media page that there is no vacancy in the Government House. It is a cliche which has been widely used in Nigerian political lexicon to simply mean the man being referenced is doing a great job and has an overwhelming support.
In reality however, Governor Alia is facing a battle of survival as the grapevine has that his boss turned adversary, George Akume, has turned the table controlling the party, APC, in Benue.
There has been reasons to believe Governor Alia wanted to change party because the APC is being rip off from his grasp.
