Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto is calling on Allah to protect the people from terrorists. In a video seen by NEWISSUES, the governor told the people that they have nothing more they can do, they are leaving everything to God.

Sokoto State has come under attack from Fulani herdsmen and Islamists who have operated in the state for several years now, with the federal government unable to do much.

Many see this admittance of being unable to tackle the problem as complete failure of the Nigerian state, where billions are budgetted yearly for security, but not much is being done. The terrorists have been emboldened and the attacks nowadays has been almost daily.

Sokoto State, Katsina, Zamfara, are some of the worst areas affected by these terror attacks over the years.
